Hi, I am Mary Boswell, owner and creator of Refining Faith Company. I am 53 year old Registered Nurse turned Digital Entrepreneur. I am married to my best friend. I'm a Mother of 2 grown children. I'm a Mimi to 5 beautiful grandkids. Most importantly, I AM A CHILD OF GOD!

My entire life I did what I was taught to do... work hard, push through, serve others, and quitting is not an option. Like so many others from my generation, this is what I did even when things got really hard.

I spent years giving everything I had to others, my whole life was built on caring for others, including 16 years in Nursing, while slowly losing pieces of myself. The stress didn’t just wear me down, it made me sick. My body began to break under the weight of constant pressure, long hours, and emotional exhaustion and I ignored all the early warning signs my body was wearing out. Then, suddenly... the diagnosis of autoimmune disorders came. Doctors repeatedly told me the stress was keeping my autoimmune disease in a constant flare & I was encouraged to slow down… even to file for disability but giving up was never my calling. After years of ignoring, it became very evident something had to change or I was not going to be around for my family.

I was at the one of my lowest seasons in my life, I was physically exhausted, spiritually worn, feeling defeated, and completely unsure how much longer I could keep going. I had a quiet moment with God and fully surrendered it all too HIM and that moment changed everything for me. I prayed for a way forward that wouldn’t destroy my health or steal my peace outside of settling for disability. It was through GOD opening the door to the online space I was quickly reminded...This season was not breaking me, It was refining me and my faith in HIM .

Refining Faith Company was created from a season of burnout, illness, and deep faith & was built on the belief that God refines what HE intends to restore. This brand exists to encourage women walking through hard seasons to keep trusting GOD, healing, and becoming who HE intends you to be. Even in the hard times always remember... The Refining Process Is Necessary To Restore & Beautiful Things Are Born Through The Refining Process.

I love helping people who have been worn down by life, work, illness, or waiting seasons to remind them that GOD is still writing their story.
